Wooden spoon Masterpieces

Last week one of the children brought in her entry for the Wooden Spoon Café, great spoon decorating competition. She had made her spoon into a Kiwi bird. We all thought it was fabulous and decided that because next week at school was Wow Week - Recycled Creations we should get creative and make some ourselves.

So this week the children have been very busy creating spoon masterpieces. The first thing they had to do was think about what they would like to create with their wooden spoons. This was followed by putting their ideas down on paper (the design process).

 Then this Friday the children spent the day creating their wooden spoon masterpieces. Wow, did they all turn out amazingly.

Next week one of our parents from the class is taking all of them down to the Wooden Spoon Café in Richmond where they will be displayed on the wall. The judging will take place on the 22^nd of March by celebrity judges Loz and Tom.
